We went to the air show today with Matt's friend Lindsey from Virginia. We got there just in time to see the Thunderbirds! We asked Audrey why do you think they call them the Thunderbirds? She replied "because they fly like birds, and are fast as thunder!" Later she corrected her self and told us she meant to say..."loud as thunder, because lighting is fast...not thunder"
Wesley was amazed as he is every year. His favorite plane was the A-10 Thunderbolt (War Hog)
. Audrey was not too happy with the noise, even though she had earplugs. Fortunately, Lindsey was kind enough to hold her hands over her ears the whole time! (Sucka!)
This has now become a family tradition of sorts, this was the third year we have attended, and we are already looking forward to next time!
